Diabetes is hard, emotionally, physically and financially and becomes more debilitating when a child or adult has limited access to the care they need. People with diabetes often forgo their insulin because of affordability, have limited education because they can’t access it, and live with anxiety and depression because they are unable to connect with others living with similar challenges.
