Find a Primary Care Physician
Primary Care physicians care for their patients’ physical, mental, and emotional health and are trained to care for patients through each life stage. They are the first line of contact for a person with an undiagnosed health concern providing patients with routine check-ups and treatment of common medical problems. Primary care physicians may treat individuals with Type 2 diabetes.
Community resources such as Clinics and Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) that offer primary care. These entities are dedicated to offering access to high quality, family oriented comprehensive primary and preventive care. Other specialty doctors may be available. These entities may have programs for free or affordable medication available as long as you are receiving healthcare.
