It Takes A Village- Diabetes Basics for School Staff

The Diabetes Foundation invites you to join our FREE It Takes a Village Education Session!

The Diabetes Basics for School Staff session is dedicated to providing nurses with a toolkit to train the adminstrators and educators within the school to care for the T1D students in their charge.

In this session you will learn:

  • Risk factors and symptoms of T1D
  • Tools to handle complications (such as hypoglyceia)
  • Tips to recommend screening and treatment options to caregivers

Join from the comfort of home through Zoom on Tuesday, July 29th.
