Watch for the 4 T’s:

THIRST

Unusual or persistent thirst.

TOILET

Frequent urination—or a child who suddenly starts having nighttime accidents again.

TIRED

Unusual fatigue, weakness or lack of energy.

THINNER

Unexplained weight loss, even if the child is eating more than usual.
