Incorporated in 1990, the Diabetes Foundation exists to provide people living with diabetes, who reside in New Jersey, with support to enhance the quality of their lives. DFI serves insured and uninsured women, men and children of all ages, with all types of diabetes, especially those living in distress caused by this often-overwhelming chronic disease. Depending on their medications, people with diabetes must meticulously test their blood sugar, alter their diet and activity, and manage their condition every day in order to remain healthy. Lack of attention can lead to life-altering complications. DFI works tirelessly to provide those impacted

by diabetes with access to medication and supplies, one-on-one support and tips and resources to help ensure they can maintain a healthy life-style, and avoid expensive visits to Emergency Departments and or hospital admission.
